About Us
Devi, which means 'goddess' in Sanskrit is a non-profit initiative founded in 2024 by Bhuvi Garg, a high school student with a passion for bringing positive change. Inspired by the pressing need to address pervasive health issues facing women, Devi aims to be a guiding light towards holistic well-being.
Our approach at Devi is threefold: awareness, education, and advocacy. Through targeted outreach programs and educational workshops, we strive to raise awareness about crucial health issues affecting women. We are committed to fostering a supportive community where women can openly discuss their health concerns and access support networks.
Meet the Founder and CEO
Bhuvi serves as the Founder and CEO of ProjectDevi. Studying in a high school in Jaipur, Bhuvi possess an immense passion in bioinformatics and genetics. Driven by her unwavering commitment to women's health empowerment and witnessing the pervasive lack of awareness and resources, Bhuvi embarked on a journey to initiate ProjectDevi, a platform dedicated to addressing critical issues faced by women and pave a path towards a healthier, brighter and a more empowered future for all women.
"The need to spread awareness about topics like contraception, menstrual hyiene, PCOS which are considered as a taboo, not openly talked about and really need awareness about, inspired me to start this project. As my mom and grandmother are gynaecologists, I have always been in such environment and have always understood the importance of it"
